Breathwork Alchemy Experience

2x Full Day Retreats!

Sat 3rd December – 10am – 5pm

Sun 4th December – 10am- 5pm

I’m delighted to offer two opportunities for a deep dive day long immersion into breathwork healing, where we use your breath to release your limitations and embody what is possible for your life.

Breathwork re-connects you to the core of who you are. It helps you understand what is truly important to you, and supports you to become more present with your family and the people you care about. It’s a gateway to understanding your behaviour patterns and beliefs and assists you to make more empowered choices.

It’s my absolute pleasure to guide you on a deep inwards journey to uncover your own answers, those that have been present all along but hidden from view.

My mission is to create a safe space where you feel it is not only possible, but encouraged to discover who you truly are. All feelings, thoughts and emotions are not only welcomed, but celebrated.

Overnight stay is availalable for £25 per person (same sex dorm style basic accommodation)

  • Life Design & Chakra clearing

Please note these are rough schedules and may change closer to the event (as the flow of the breath dictates!).

As part of the breathwork introduction you will also learn:

  • Why breathing is so important to your health and wellbeing
  • Why feeling and releasing your emotions is fundamental to health & fulfilment
  • What conscious connected breathwork is and how to practice it

These events are offered on a donation basis. This is the way I desire to share the healing power of the work I do, and to give the benefit of my 12 year personal transformation journey for those who desire to receive it.(I don’t have any special circumstances of wealth in order to offer this).

As a guide the recommended heartfelt donation is –

1 day – £40 – 80

2 days – £80 – 160

Overnight stay is fixed – £25 (additional to your donation for the retreat experience)

Both days are capped at 16 participants.


For transparency: The external costs incurred to put this event on are: Cost of the venue – £92.50 per day. Overnight stay – £25 p.p. Tea / snacks – £3 p.p.

Based on 10 participants per day the basic cost for expenses is £12.25 per person per day, or £24.50 for 2 days.

About the organiser:

Born and bred in the English countryside, Philippa is a corporate escapee, life explorer and breathwork facilitator. Her existential crisis led to a path of self exploration, deciding to quit ‘normal life’ in 2014 and break out of the ‘small beige box’ she found herself in to discover her true purpose. Living in Brazil was the perfect antidote to her western conditioning and provided the space to explore and train in Transformational Breath®, a style of therapeutic breathwork. She is the founder of Breathworks & The Dengie Healer, a coach and retreat leader, and travels the world empowering people to use conscious breathing techniques to achieve their greatest potential.


I’d never heard of breathwork as a practice before and was instantly intrigued. As someone who frequently suffers from anxiety and is easily stressed, I’m always open to alternative therapies that might be able to help.Once the session was over I felt like a weight had been lifted off me. Who can attend?

  • There are no pre-requisites, just a smile and an open heart and mind
  • Over 18s only
  • Spaces are limited to 16 people – Book to avoid disappointment!

What to bring & wear – IMPORTANT

Layers are a good idea. Wear loose, comfortable, unrestrictive clothing and bring a bottle of water with you. You might also like to bring a journal.

During the breathing session itself you will be lying down. We will have mattresses available and you’re invited to bring your own additional equipment – the following are suggestions:

– pillow

– blanket / s (layers are good depending on the weather)

– a yoga / exercise mat / something comfortable to lie down on (if you prefer your own)

Note – We highly recommend avoiding caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes or a heavy meal before and after the event.

Overnight stays

The venue does not offer a catering option. If you are staying overnight there are a couple of local venues to order food. Please note there is a local shop in the next village (2 mins by car) so it is strongly advised to bring your own supplies. Fridges are available at the venue.

Getting there

By train – Nearest station is Southminster. You will need to arrange a taxi to the venue.

By Car – Free parking is available at the venue.


Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend we are happy to transfer the ticket to another person with 48 hours notice.

What is conscious connected breath?

Conscious connected breathwork is a safe, gentle, yet simple technique that helps you open up the full potential your breathing system for better physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. At its core, it teaches a pattern of conscious breathing using the diaphragm to return to our healthy, natural breath. Benefits can include increased energy, improved detoxification, better immune response and increased ability to deal with the stresses of daily life.

The technique is taught by fully trained facilitators whose intention is to give each person an understanding of how they can work with their own breath to create personal transformation. It can be used to great effect either on its own, or in combination with other types of treatment.
